While strolling with her father she noticed an uprooted tree. People were enjoying this pull out because it had widened the way for them but what a miserable situation it would be for that tree who had lost its identity, "Main tera saaya banta chla gya, jab waqt mille dhunda toh mera apna hi wajood na tha." This incident reminded her own situation, the question that was very frequent in her mind;" Who am I ? Where do I belong to? " When she stepped in her career she was alien to that place, to those people but with the passage of time they were her own, her colleagues and some of them became very dear to her and she to them. Alas! Time never stops. She had to move on without her dear ones, though the physical separation was unbearable but mutually they were united. But what about that work place? It had left a remarkable mark on her memory and of course on her Identity too.
Now she had to accept the fresh start. And it was Unacceptably Accepted. A new place, new faces and a new designation, none belonged to her and she to none.. Life is like travelling in a train, there are many people sitting beside you, talking to you but don't belong to you, listening to you but not concerned about you, travelling with you but won't be your companion. She made another effort and it worked a bit; She used to have a sense of belonging , a gleam of happiness came on her face perhaps she had found her identity, her true self. Life was going smooth and the questions that used to knock at her mind about her identity were over now. Then all of sudden the woodcutter came and uprooted the tree with a single stroke, a remark from a colleague reminding her she was on contractual basis ............. Now again she is on same verge with same questions.
This is not only about one situation only, this is about LIFE. Humans are strange creatures. they aren't away from this pain of pull out when it comes to them but they enjoy it when it befalls on others. How could we be so ignorant of others' UPROOT?
